Make mealtimes a breeze with this HOBD482D induction hob from Smeg. It has 4 zones that use clever electromagnets that detect and heat your pots only when they touch the surface, making it super-safe. And the Pan Detection technology only heats up the pots and not the hob’s surface, so that you can save energy as you prepare lunch or dinner. The Venting Cooktop is handy too, as this built-in downdraft cooker hood pulls down fumes from the air for a fresh-smelling kitchen. Plus, you can easily make dinner for all the family thanks to the Extendable Cooking Zone that lets you combine two rings into a bigger one – giving you ample space for larger pans.
All-in-One Installation
This model includes all of the basic recirculating and extraction pieces needed. Ready to install in a cabinet of 80cm. Includes filter kit, regenerable charcoal filter and a 8cm high stainless steel grid as standard.
One compact slider for everything which offers easy control of both hob and hood.
Eco-logic advanced technology allows you to limit the total energy used per zone in an advanced way.
MultiZone Technology
Smeg's MultiZone heating zone can be used as two independent cooking zones or combined into a single zone.
Each zone automatically adapts to the size and position of the dishes and is heated only where the pans locate, providing better heat distribution.
Powerful, Quiet Operation
All of Hobd’s energy is derived from its powerful motor: boasting effective performance and low energy consumption rated efficient A++. Compact in size, it is equipped with a special AquaProof Engine plus two liquid collectors, ensuring the appliance is simple to clean whilst containing accidental spillages.
Combining Design and Technology
Smeg's 'Hobd' hood in hob is composed of a single piece of premium glass. Protected by an elegant cast iron grill, the HOBD's extraction system allows the entire surface to appear completely seamless - where pans can be moved freely between positions.
Fast Operation
Induction allows for precise temperature control when doing intricate cooking, or simmering for example. Heat is only generated when the pan comes into direct contact of the specific cooking zone, ensuring safety in the presence of children. This helps optimise power consumption, only using the energy needed to heat the pan itself.
