The delay start function enables you to pre-programme when each cycle should start so you can take better control over the time available to you.

Refreshment for your clothes even woollens
The refresh programme can give worn-once, stored and naturally dried items even woollens that just-laundered feeling of freshness and softness.

Evenly dried laundry with fewer creases
The drum of this tumble dryer rotates in both directions, loosening the clothes inside so that they dry more evenly and with fewer creases.

Vented Tumble Dryer
The vented dyer expels warm air from the machine via a venting kit. It is essential that this air is vented outside, therefore the appliance must be situated near an outside wall. Vented dryers come with a venting kit consisting of a venting hose and connectors for the appliance and wall.

Question

in which country AEG T65170AV vented tumble dryer is manufacturing. Germany , Turkey or some where else?

Kumudchandra
FEBRUARY 2018
Answer

I'm afraid I don't know, I would think it would depend what country you are purchasing in. I can tell you aeg are owned by electrolux, perhaps you could find out some information there? I can also tell you I love this product. I've owned it over a year now and it continues to run as perfectly as at the beginning. I tend to stick to the one program, but did try the synthetics ones as well and they worked a treat. Have had no shrinkage, and things like waistband only occasionally come out slightly damp.

Question

How do you know how long each cycle takes?

Valerie
JANUARY 2018
Answer

Only by experience. The user manual doesn't give times and I imagine that this is because there are so many options available in terms of quantity and type of wash. Personally I only ever use the Extra Dry for every load and for a few synthetics it will finish quickly but for a load of towels, mats, hankies it never takes more than an hour and everything is bone dry. I am still very satisfied with this machine.

Answer

It does not say low heat options on my dryer, but it does have delicate, sensitive and anti-crease options. I have not used any of those as I use it to get my loads dry as quickly as possible. It also has anti crease options which I have used. I have got used to the dryer now and it does a good job for me. I had a gas tumble dryer previously and it was first class. Hope this helps

Question

I read the manual but can't find anywhere it specifics Low Heat options. How can I be sure that there is more than one Low Heat option as I have delicate and form fitting cloths I can't risk shrinking or hurting the fabric with high heat? Also, are you glad you bought AEG over other brands?

Katie
NOVEMBER 2017
Answer

The low heat options can be selected when programming the load, I.e. temperature - down to 20 degrees or even a cold wash. Very happy with this machine and love the Pro-sense part where it weighs the load and adjusts the running time accordingly.

Question

My dryer has been great for its first two years but it then stopped drying the clothes, and two engineers have tried to fix it by firstly replacing the circuit board then modifying the replacement. It works a couple of times then stops working again. Has anyone else had the same experience and managed to get it repaired successfully? Luckily I took out insurance! Not so pleased with this machine as I was a month ago.

Janet

Question

Is the sensor dry function effective? Does it dry clothes well on different settings or do you find you are always setting it to 'cottons extra dry' to ensure it's done the job? (I've heard some negative things about sensor dryers so just wanted to check before purchasing!)

Kath
NOVEMBER 2015
Answer

Hi Kath, The instructions for the drier are a little confusing , as they are translated from German. However my wife had to go through a learning curve to determine the performance of each of the settings. I think she has now mastered the requirements. As with washing machines you end up only using a few of the programmes . We are pleased with the performance .

Question

Hi I've had this dryer for about 4months however it doesn't seem to dry my clothes, some will be dry others still wet, can anyone help.

A shopper
SEPTEMBER 2014
Answer

Mine has worked extremely well. I don't overfill it (allowing the air to circulate) and set it on cottons extra-dry. The only other thing could be the exhaust vent. Mine is direct to an outside wall, so there are no restrictions created by the condensate vent.
